I wanted to see Senator's Mandy Lane when she was young and sexy, not an old hag. Some interesting news was sent to us this morning by B-d regular Joey M. who pointed us to a website that had some interesting news about Jonathan Levine's All The Boys Love Mandy Lane, which has been sitting on the shelves here in the Us collecting pounds of dust. Read on to see what the latest is on this popular teen slasher pic... Mark Urman has left ThinkFilm to become head of distribution at Senator Entertainment, reports Pro Networks. "Why does this matter to independent film fans? Well, word is that one of his first major tasks will be to get Mandy Lane out of limbo and get this film into the 1000+ theaters that Senator originally promised when they bought the film from the Weinsteins over a year ago...

All the boys love Amber Heard. and for good reason. Amber is stunningly beautiful; she.s also smart and has a bit of a wicked side (in a good way). She has been causing a lot of excitement in the horror world with All The Boys Love Mandy Lane, and she recently appeared in Never Back Down. Now, she gets to cause Seth Rogen a whole lot of turmoil in Pineapple Express. Again, it seems like I.ve interviewed everyone involved with this movie more than a few times. And Amber is no...

All The Boys Love Mandy Lane (review), but no one wants her to be out in public. Years have passed, and we have yet to see the lovely Mandy in theatres or even on store shelves. What gives? It's a solid movie and soars over many of the recent kiddy slashers, so why hasn't it been released?
Senator International holds the distribution rights now, but even they really haven't announced anything ... or maybe they have! MSN's Fantasia page is now hosting a new but very familiar trailer for Mandy Lane, which touts us to join the party in spring. But we're in summer now, right?
So either this trailer has passed its expiration date, or we've got to wait another year before we can see this outside of the festival circuit. Sigh.

Free! Free at last! Free from the shackles of employment I braved a surprisingly chilly night to catch my first screening of Tiff. I met up with the boys as we settled down for the third Midnight Madness screening of the year, a wonderful teen movie featuring your common teen staples; drugs, booze, guns, breasts, sex, and lots and lots of blood. Is it any surprise that All The Boys Love Mandy Lane?
Mandy Lane is the object of every young man’s desire at her school. A desirable creature made all the more desirable by her inclination to lead a pure lifestyle and abstain from common teenage vices. You want what you can’t have and it drives the male teenage population around her mad. A weekend away at a classmates’ Texas ranch appears to be the perfect opportunity to crack that nut and be the first to get with Mandy.
